The bronze, which was mounted on the outside wall of Lörcher's house in Stuttgart, Heubergstraße 25, was cast after a marble relief that the artist created for the Liederhalle in Stuttgart. This marble relief is part of a triptych that decorates the entrance to the Mozart Halle on Schlossstraße.
